“A Prayer Hymn" is an SATB hymn of reflection. It is a combination of unison and 4-part harmony that is simple in structure and easily learned by most choirs. It is appropriate for young choirs and adult choirs. The second stanza is SATB and may be performed alone as a call to worship or benediction (accompanied or unaccompanied). The composition is suitable for church as a choral piece, call to worship, or as a benediction. It may be used in any secular venue with a sacred music section.
